Jon has been helping people make smarter financial decisions for over 17 years. He began advising overseas in 2008 and earned his Certified Financial Planner® designation by 2010, a standard he’s proudly maintained since moving to Australia in 2012.
After migrating, Jon spent five years in a self-licensed boutique firm refining his holistic planning skills, before progressing to a Senior Adviser role at Perpetual. There, he worked extensively with clients and complex structures including SMSFs, SAFs, trusts, philanthropic vehicles, superannuation strategies and a wider range of investment solutions.
Now at Scope Financial Planning, Jon partners with clients to take a strategic, big-picture approach to their financial world. His expertise spans strategic tax advice, wealth accumulation and retirement planning, personal insurance, and portfolio construction underpinned by technical knowledge and a focus on clear, practical outcomes.
Jon enjoys working with a diverse mix of clients, ranging from professionals, families, business owners and entities - each with their own priorities and challenges. He’s committed to turning complexity into clarity, empowering people to make confident, well-informed decisions. He stays attuned to industry changes, is a member of the Financial Advisers Association of Australia (FAAA) and is passionate about delivering advice that is purpose driven as life evolves over time.
As Jon puts it: “My goal is to simplify the best roadmap for clients so they can achieve their goals and enjoy life, knowing their financial world is in order.”
Alex Ho
Adviser / Financial Planner
ASIC AR numbers: 1264818

Alex’s life has been a numbers game for as long as he can recall. Raised in Western Sydney by hard-working parents, Alex discovered a passion for mathematics at a young age and began tutoring fellow students in the subject while still at high school himself.
This ideal equation of arithmetic aptitude and dedication showed Alex the value of treating money with respect. Approaching his financial choices with a steely discipline, he built an impressive portfolio of investments prior to graduating from University. “My parents built their wealth through not only hard work, but having the discipline to only spend what they needed to,” Alex said. “This made me intrigued about the concept of managing my own finances as I sought to emulate their success. Before long I realised I could not only help myself, but many other people.”
This discovery drove Alex to earn his Financial Planning license at just 24 years of age. Alex has since built a strong client base of young professional contemporaries.
“I love working with young professionals because we share the same generational experience, and face common challenges in moving toward established wealth,” he says.
“How a young professional treats their finances in the first five to 10 years of their career can be a vital determinant of how they will be able to handle the adversities of middle life such as parenthood and unexpected life changes.
“Arming my peers with this knowledge, and a compatible financial strategy that assures a bright future, is what satisfies me most.”

Client Service Manager

Anjali has spent the past several years working in paraplanning and client services, where she enjoys making the advice process smoother for advisers and clearer for clients. After completing her Law degree through the University of London and becoming a CIMA finalist, she began her career in financial services at PwC before finding her true passion in paraplanning.
At Planlogic she spent over five years preparing advice documents, mentoring junior paraplanners, and helping create processes that made things easier for both advisers and to service their clients. She later joined Worksorted, where she focused on automation, training resources, and system improvements designed to simplify day-to-day tasks and improve the adviser and client experience.
As a Client Service Manager at Scope Financial Planning, Anjali supports Jon and Alex throughout the advice process from building advice documents to implementation across all advice areas, so they can spend more time and focus on their clients. She finds it especially rewarding to know that her work directly powers the advice team, ensuring the advice clients receive is clear, compliant, and tailored to their goals. For her, it’s about being a steady support for advisers while also contributing to better outcomes and peace of mind for clients.
